Designed as a modern lake house with timeless appeal, this home was envisioned as a place where everyday life feels like a retreat. Bright, welcoming, and deeply connected to its natural surroundings, every design decision was made to create a home that is equally suited to quiet family moments and effortless entertaining.
Working closely with the homeowners, we curated a warm, understated palette inspired by the lakeside setting. Natural white oak cabinetry, soft stone, textured tile, and layered linen textiles create a refined yet relaxed atmosphere throughout. Custom furnishings, including a bespoke corner banquette with integrated storage and a custom extendable dining table to maximize both function and flexibility, allowing the space to comfortably transition from intimate family dinners to hosting a full house of guests. High-performance fabrics were thoughtfully selected to withstand the demands of lakeside living without compromising comfort or style.
The finished home is an inviting sanctuary that feels grounded in its surroundings. Rich wood ceilings, natural materials, handcrafted details, and soft neutral tones create a seamless connection between the indoors and the lake beyond. Every room balances beauty with practicality, resulting in a timeless home that welcomes barefoot mornings, long summer evenings, and generations of memories around the table.
